Good day to anyone who has found this site.  You probably found it for one of two reasons.  Either I sent you here to see how a simple application of Statusfirm technology can work, or else you are a big curling fan and Google (or other search engine) linked you to this site.  If it is the latter, you will likely be disappointed since this site has nothing to do with curling – yes, I have another life.  As a matter of fact, I am a founder and Executive Vice President of one of the leaders in broadband (big word for internet pipe) media technologies and niche market vertical networks.  On a side note, there is more accurate and technical definition to broadband, but I included a really simple explanation because recently I used that word with a internet acquisition manager for one of the largest television networks in the world, and found out this person was offended at my use of confusing and complex verbiage – unbelievable!

Anyhow, as I mentioned, I run a company called Statusfirm. We are a fairly complex company with rapidly expanding reach both geographically and technically within the digital media world.  Our pride and joy is the technology platform, CORE Nucleus.  This is a fully scalable, modular platform which can be used to manage digital media and specifically applicable to video content in both live and archived formats.  We currently work within markets such as sport, entertainment, news, health, government, industry, education, fashion, and finance.  You can certainly go to our company web site (www.statusfirm.com) to learn more. 

This site is on the CORE platform, because as the owner of the company, I should certainly be testing everything first-hand.  Thanks to the ingenious construct of the technology, this site was up and fully functional including the video blog that same week that it was requested!

Well, since this is only an introduction blog, I will leave it at that for now.  I will be sure to talk more about the cross-over between my company and sport, as well as keeping you informed as our world at Statusfirm continues to grow – seemingly on a week-by-week basis.
